How to Become a SABLAC Member
Who Can Join?
You can become a member if you:
- Have a developmental or physical disability
- Live in Los Angeles County
- Care about self-advocacy
Steps to Become a Member
- Attend four meetings within four months
- At least two must be official SABLAC meetings
- Trainings and joint project meetings also count
- Live in LA County
- Show interest in advocacy
- Stay active by attending and actively participating in meetings
- Attend four meetings within four months
Members are also asked to follow the bylaws, ground rules, and let officers know if they can’t attend a meeting.
Meetings are the first Thursday of each month from 1–3 PM on Zoom.
