Join the Self-Advocacy Movement
At SABLAC, we believe that advocacy is stronger when we work together.
There are many ways to get involved with our work.
Whether you’re looking to attend meetings, become an official member, or support our mission through a donation, your voice, your leadership, and your support matter.
Ways to Get Involved
Support self-advocacy in LA County by becoming a member, joining a meeting, or making a donation.
1. Become a Member
If you believe in speaking up for yourself and supporting others in doing the same, SABLAC is a place where you’ll be welcomed, heard, and valued. If you’re passionate about self-advocacy and want to grow within a supportive community, we’d love to have you as a member.
To become a member, you must:
- Have a developmental disability, a physical disability, or be an ally
- Be a resident of Los Angeles County
- Attend four (4) meetings within a four-month period
(At least two must be formal SABLAC meetings. Joint project meetings also count.)
